Grow your own salad mix!  Each mixed pack includes the perfect pairing of color, flavor, and texture.  You’ll receive one red and green Salanova Butterhead (tender & buttery), Batavia (crunchy & juicy), and Oakleaf (mild & slightly sweet) lettuce.  Each variety produces a compact, dense head.  Salanova is known as a “one-cut” variety because a single cut at the base of the head offers multiple baby-size leaves perfect for an instant salad.  

Transplant 10-12” apart in rows 15-18” apart.  Harvest full heads by cutting at the base.  Wash and cool right after harvest.  Cutting once around the core separates leaves ideal for salads.  Once cut, plants will regrow.  A single plant will offer multiple cuts.
