Acorn Squash – Honey Bear

Scrumptious variety!  Semibush plant producing smaller fruits (1 -1 ¼lb ) ideal for two!  Strong powdery mildew tolerance. 

Space plants 18-24” apart in rows 6’ apart.  Harvest when fruits are dark green and stems have dried out, becoming woody like.  Leave fruits in sun for 5-7 days allowing skin to cure before storing. Store at 50-60 degrees with relative humidity and good ventilation. Lasts about 2-3 months in storage, but flavor declines with age.
