Acorn Squash – Autumn Delight (live plant)

High yielding, uniform acorn.  Excellent flavor and storage variety. Semibush plant producing dark green fruits weighing about 1 ½ - 2 ½lbs.  Strong powdery mildew tolerance. 

Space plants 18-24” apart in rows 6’ apart.  Harvest when fruits are dark green and stems have dried out, becoming woody like.  Leave fruits in sun for 5-7 days allowing skin to cure before storing. Store at 50-60 degrees with relative humidity and good ventilation. Lasts about 2-3 months in storage, but flavor declines with age.
