Description
Ranging from soft, dreamy pastels to richly colored blooms, our specialty tulips display unique, non-traditional features. Blooms vary from fancy fringed parrots to peony-like ruffles and even include stunning double blossoms. Grown as an annual, our tulips have larger blooms and longer, stronger stems than those commercially grown.
All pre-order bunches are thoughtfully wrapped with hand-tied ribbon and a card of your choosing.
Care
Tulips need a little support (who doesn't!). Add tulips to a tall vase with a few inches of cool water, removing any leaves that would sit below the waterline. Display away from ripening fruit/veggies and out of direct sunlight. Refresh water daily or every other day to extend the life of your tulips.
Tulip stems continue to grow in the vase and benefit from trimming every few days. Trim stems about an inch at a diagonal when refreshing vase water. Some tulip blooms are heavier than others and may require more frequent trimming or a taller vase.
Pick-up/Delivery info
On Farm Pick-up:
Pre-ordered flower and Seasonal Farm Box pick-ups will be available on the porch. Any cash payments can be left in the postbox above the doorbell.
Bouquet of the Month Members: Please refer to your assigned monthly pick-up schedule sent via email in April. Pick-up days will be Thursdays 9am - 7pm, May - October.
Tulip Pre-Orders: Please select your tulip bunch(es) and card(s) from the porch between 9am - 7pm on your chosen pick-up date.
Delivery:
Delivery is available within a 15 mile radius of the farm for $7 per visit. A timeframe for deliveries will be coordinated via email or text ahead of time.
Please Note: Flowers and produce are sensitive to heat, and we want to ensure you're able to enjoy the freshest blooms and veggies possible. Please make sure someone is home to receive your delivery or leave us a note in the "special instructions" section at check out with a protected area where we can leave your order. We are not responsible for damage or theft when deliveries are unattended.
